Trip Overview
The Langtang Valley Trek is among the most admired journeys in the Langtang region, known for its raw beauty and cultural charm. On this trail, you are greeted with striking views of snow-capped peaks such as Langtang Lirung, Ganesh Himal, Naya Kanga, Gyachung Kang, Yala Peak, and even glimpses of the Annapurna and Tibetan Himalayan ranges.
What makes this trek even more special is the variety of wildlife and birdlife found along the way. Trekkers may come across red pandas hiding in the forest, Himalayan black bears, leopards, ghorals, Himalayan tahr, playful monkeys, and musk deer. Bird watchers will enjoy spotting pheasants, Nepal’s national bird the Danphe, along with Himalayan doves, long-tailed birds, and sparrows.
